Templeton Press is sponsoring an essay contest that is open to any high school senior who intends to enroll at an institution of higher learning by fall of 2013. The contest has no special requirements; it only asks each entrant to write a thoughtful essay about his or her life’s purpose. Contestants will be judged solely on the quality of their ideas and their ability to express themselves. The contest carries prizes ranging from $1,000 up to $5,000 and it runs through December 31, 2012.
